Starlite Lodge

Starlite Lodge began about 25 years ago, when a couple took a rundown campground and turned it into a welcoming home for LGBTQ+ outdoor lovers. Today it’s 74 acres near Pisgah National Forest, with waterfalls and hiking trails just minutes away. Stay in a tiny home, pitch a tent, or bring your RV or camper van (some sites have river views). Swim in the river, laze by the pool, stroll around the lake, and gather at the lodge for community events. Families, kids, and allies are welcome too. Blowing Rock is about 30 minutes up Globe Mountain Road.
